About Aurora Flight Training

We’re a local flight school based at Aurora State Airport, serving the Salem and Portland area.

Our vision is to make aviation more accessible, adventurous, and skilled by:

  • Offering clear pathways from Private Pilot to Professional Pilot

  • Providing programs for recreational pilots who just want to explore the Pacific Northwest

  • Bringing modern, MOSAIC‑ready training aircraft into our fleet over time

  • Focusing on proficiency and safety, not rushing people or milking hours

A skilled pilot is a safe pilot. The more you fly, the better you become. Our job is to create the environment, structure, and coaching that make that possible.
